GHASDO’S democracy and governance programs work with communities Cambodia and worldwide to end violent conflict and to strengthen peaceful, democratic societies.
Together with local partners, we create platforms for collaboration, collective action, and dialogue so communities can champion the changes they need to thrive. By sharing tools, expertise and lessons learned, we help increase local capacity to address challenges today and set the stage for a better tomorrow.
Our programs are wide-ranging and responsive to local needs. Examples include helping citizens hold government institutions accountable, supporting peacebuilding efforts and strengthening local capacity to mitigate conflict and extremism.
